This sagebrush sunset engagement session in Ellensburg was one for the books!! We had the most beautiful backdrop of sagebrush with a stunning sunset. Whenever any couple wants to book me, I am always thrilled and so excited. But when a fellow wedding photographer wants me to capture their wedding, I am truly HONORED. Kassie and I connected over instagram and began our friendship with a photoshoot swap. I got all dressed up in my wedding dress so that Kassie could do a bridal portrait shoot of me and then I took some fun branding photos (which you can see here!) for Kassie’s website. And we have been friends since!

Kassie and Sam’s engagement session was just stunning! Since there was a wildfire up in Manastash, we had to change locations at the last minute. So we decided to head up into the hills near Kittitas for some beautiful sagebrush and valley views! Our change ended up being the best decision! The smoky sky gave us some gorgeous sunset colors. This is one thing I just love about living in Ellensburg; within 20 minutes I can be up in a beautiful location just like this one! And with just a few minutes of driving, you’ll be back down in Kittitas where you can find my favorite coffee shop and breakfast spot, the Kittitas Café!

These two were naturals in front of the camera. We danced, laughed, and of course, a celebrated their engagement with an impressive champagne spray!! We had such a fun time together and I cannot wait for their wedding this fall at Lazy F Camp!
